While we finalize formal policy language, the following operational facts about Vakt's data handling are accurate and binding on our service:
All customer data is stored, processed, and analyzed in AWS Canada (Central) — ca-central-1, located in Montreal. We do not replicate customer data to AWS regions outside Canada.
All customer data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher) and at rest using AWS-managed encryption.
Vakt's data handling is designed around the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and Quebec's Law 25. Both are operational baselines for the platform.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not use customer data for advertising. Service providers (AWS, Disruptive Technologies, Resend) process data solely to deliver the platform.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by emailing info@vakt.ca. We will respond within 30 days.
